Yin Yoga is a slow paced yoga practice that focuses on the connective tissue of the body, by using props, and holding each asana (pose) from two to ten minutes.

Tuesday @ Searchlight Yoga

Invigorate                    5:45 p - 7:00 p

An aerobic, fast paced flow for fans of Vinyasa and power yoga. Expect to exert yourself fluidly through challenging variations! Knowledge of basic asanas and breath recommended.

 

Wednesday @ Searchlight Yoga

Ashtanga flow             4:30 p - 5:30 p

Often considered the origin of ‘power’ yoga, this principal yoga practice was founded by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, Ashtanga is a challenging practice that builds internal heat by linking breath to movement. With this set sequence of asanas (sun salutations, standing poses, seated poses, and inversions) you can build a solid understanding of the foundations of vinyasa yoga.

 

Thursday @ Working Food

This alignment based flow class is for all levels. Learn the fundamental aspects of asana with a beginner’s mind, and as you are ready, allow yourself the opportunity to work into more advanced postures.

Saturday @ Tom Petty Park
