Studio Etiquette

In our Wildflowers Studio, which includes our lobby and practicing space, we as a community will collectively continue to uphold the sacredness of our studio. We together create the foundation of community by practicing honorable etiquette to ensure the smooth flow of our offerings.

When to Arrive & Leave:

Please arrive at the studio at least 5 minutes prior to the beginning of class. We understand that human items happen and it may be tricky to arrive. We as the Wildflowers Staff will be locking the door 10 minutes past the start of class.

If you need to leave early, please leave prior to Savasana to create minimal disturbances, whereas if you use props to clean and return them to their respective spaces.

Setting up Your Practicing Space:

When setting up your mat, please take note where you would like to be prior to practice. Upon arrival understand that students may already be in the studio or may be arriving shortly after you do, making space as other students come in.

You are more than welcome to nurture your practice in the way you need in terms of selecting the props. Please be sure to return the props to the prop wall the way you found them.

i.e., all of the tassels on the blankets are to face the wall, please place appropriate colored blocks in the same space together and please clean off your blocks with the cleaner provided for you that can be found on the shelves as well.

Minding the Noise:

As we understand your excitement and we feel excited you are in Our Community space, we also need to be mindful of the volume of our voices. We have practitioners of other healing modalities practicing from our space, in addition to other classes taking place before or after your class. Please remain appropriate in the observation of the space around you for all who are healing.

Appropriate Clothing:

We as a Community encourage body positivity while upholding the respect and sacredness of our practice. This translates to understanding that some classes you may release through sweat which there may be a shedding of clothing, i.e. shorts and a sports top. And we also understand that there will be other classes where you will surrender into the mat which will encourage the deep release, possibly suggesting comfy pants and a t-shirt. Please be aware of the type of clothing you need during these classes.

We deeply appreciate Our community at Wildflowers, involved in our space as we remain a continual container for healing, practicing, and growth.
